I had gallbladder and hernia surgery at Baptist East last month. My voice has not been the same since. I was informed that a tube was inserted down my throat during surgery and may have damaged my vocal cords. I make part of my living narrating audiobooks. Family physician said, “Three days is the fastest I can get the proper test kit- I recommend you get to the ER of your choice.” Gall bladder has been removed. Caught the swollen bile duct EARLY. Starting my battle for complete remission tomorrow!
